Let Yourself Sparkle.
You were meant to live your best life
You deserve to feel happy, alive and to Be YOURSELF.
You have permission to feel happy and fulfilled and chase your dreams.
From the inside- out, you deserve to shine.
Times are hard, Life is hard. There is so much darkness around us these days,
But YOU can find the power to light up your life.
Sometimes, if you look hard enough, you might find that your pain truly is your purpose.
Your mess is your message. That which you thought you were cursed with, might in fact be a gift.
I wholeheartedly believe what Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi said: “that a little light can dispel a lot of darkness.”
When YOU allow yourself to be surrounded in things that make you happy, make you feel good, grounded, inspired, at peace and fulfilled,
and at the same time,
try your best to filter out content that might be contributing to the darkness you feel,
You are listening to your gut, being mindful of your own self care, giving yourself permission to do more of the things that make you happy…. This, I believe, is the road map to feeling free.
Some might feel selfish focusing on the little things that make them happy,
but the truth is– happiness is contagious. If you can reignite the fire in your soul,
You have the potential to share that light with the world.
So, if you’re here, I want to encourage you to do more of what lights you up.
Realize you have the power to sparkle, and I give you permission to do so.
And most importantly, no one can control your happiness, (not a pill or a person)… but YOU.
It takes action. You need to choose to do the things that you know will nourish your body, mind, heart and soul.
Here you will find tips and tricks and road maps I’ve put together to take you on this journey from darkness to light.
Life is short. Be the free spirit you are.
I hope to inspire you to dance in the moonlight, chase your dreams, be authentically you, and do what you can to share your light with the world.

Who Am I? I’ll tell you.
I am spiritual. I am creative. I am a mother who prioritizes happiness.
I am the Host of the Let Yourself Sparkle Podcast.
I feel it is my mission in life to help people Break Free from whatever it is that is holding them back
so that they can create a life that they love, wherever they are.
I am Certified in the Science of Well Being and Positive Psychology,
and I also have a background as a fashion designer who makes electrical light up dresses
(think Disneys Electrical Light Parade!),
and I also wrote the Children’s Books: You Were Born to Be YOU and Let Yourself Sparkle.
I am a Spiritual Jew with a dream to play Roller Derby even though I am the least bit competitive or aggressive.
Since I was little, I was always quirky. I never fit in anywhere.
I’m a grand-daughter of Holocaust survivors so the theme of darkness to light has been prominent throughout my life.
I could talk to you all day about how we can connect batteries to wires and bulbs and fiber optic filament to create a lit up garment, or how our brains can rewire and reconnect themselves by strengthening the neural pathways and how things like meditation and music and focusing on Joy light up our brains like fireworks and shooting stars across our synapses!
I believe things happen for a reason and that we have the power to change our lives.
Holocaust Survivor, Viktor Frankle once wrote that:
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
Helping people find their way back home to themselves, so that they can shine brighter than they ever dreamed possible, is what I know I was put here to do.
But it took me a while to figure this out.
Somewhere along the way I took trains back and forth across the United States, traveled the world with my backpack, and went to UCLA and got a Bachelors Degree in Cultural Anthropology, and was in a Masters Program for Social Work, and tried to fight for systemic change for immigrants, homeless, and foster kids. I also have been so passionate about animals being used for fashion.
I wish I could stop all these bad things from happening.
It weighs on me, a lot. That after all the hours and weeks and months I’ve spent trying to affect positive change, I feel powerless.
I’m totally an empath.
So it’s been tough for me to be submerged in such heavy content.
I’ve struggled with feeling selfish if I choose to focus on what lights me up rather than the changes I wish I could see in the world,
But I am really starting to see that we need to be the change we want to see.
I was suddenly hit one day with Vestibular Migraines. Dizziness and sudden moments of blindness — that lasted for over a year.
After running all the tests, the doctors said there was no cure.
But thankfully my brilliant little daughter- saw me crying and said “Mommy, You Can Choose to Be Happy.
A major shift in perspective and huge lifestyle changes brought me back home to myself.
I was able to push myself from darkness to light so seamlessly, that it inspired me to want to help anyone else suffering– light up their lives.
I have found that when I do more of what lights me up, I am happier, and that happiness is so important because I’m a mom, and my kids deserve a happy mom, and when I am filled with joy, I am able to light up their world.
And through being a mother, I’ve realized that smiles are absolutely contagious. And so are bad moods. And so I am hereby committing my life, from this moment forward, to do whatever I can in my power to make myself the happiest, most vibrant version of me.
And I am hoping to inspire people through my own journey, to encourage them to chase their own dreams and find their way out of the darkness.
A couple highlights of my fashion journey include: an internship with Betsey Johnson, working at a Hollywood Costume House, where I was part of a team handmaking garments for Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Brittany Spears, Fergie and Cher.
After years of fashion school, when I felt confident in my own skills to open my doors, I became a seamstress for the Avant Garde Cirque performance troupe, Lucent Dossier. I would camp out with my sewing machine, and have designed custom garments that were worn at the celebrity studded SOHO House and MTV Award Shows.
Tyra Banks reached out to me to make her a light up dress!
My dresses have literally done more things on my bucket list than I have!!!
They’ve rode in hot air balloons, got married at Burning Man, swam deep in the oceans with sharks and beluga whales, lit up stages of Coachella and Lightening in a Bottle Music Festivals, and have graced the pages of wedding magazines, from Rock N Roll Bride, to Offbeat Bride, and Green Wedding Shoes. They’ve even been featured on TV stations from Los Angeles to Finland.
It lights me up to help other people light up from the inside out, and the outside in.
Like a fiber optic and LED infused glowing dress, I love reminding people how to connect with the light within and around them, so that they can have fun, and be happy and let themselves sparkle and light up their worlds brighter than they ever dreamed possible.
What I love about lighting people up, is that it’s connecting with people on a heart to heart basis, helping them realize that they are not limited, that their mess can be their message, and they have it in them to light up the world in their own brilliant way.
