This week, I am sure I am NOT alone when I say I am anxious about what this school year will look like for my little ones! With the pandemic, I am finding myself on the fence between Distance Learning through our school district and putting together my own home school program for my kids. I have a two spunky little kids, a toddler and a kindergartner, and I am NOT a teacher!
This whole concept of needing to find time in my day to figure out how to not only keep them happy and entertained and safe, but NOW also making sure they wont be falling behind academically, is adding a new dimension of stress to our new bizarre way of living.
In this episode, Karyn Moore, a Kindergarten teacher, CEO of the Tiny Tikes Learning Box, and Host of the Building Blocks for Tiny Tots Podcast tells us what a typical day of Kindergarten looks like, and about all the important skills little kids need to be practicing. She gives us so many examples of creative and engaging ways we can incorporate building these skills throughout the day, and how to boost happiness in our kids by making learning fun.
