As we approach the New Year, here are some things to think about and journal prompts to help you return to your truest self, and unlock your body, mind and soul – so that you can thrive so much brighter in the coming year.

Together we focus our attention to our breath, we set intentions, listen to the sounds of the shofar, and go deep to break free of bad habits and pave the way to a happier future.

This time of year is significant because it reminds us that we can always start fresh, you are never stuck, you can pick yourself up and change anything you want.

Grab a pen and paper- to do some meaningful journaling with beautiful prompts I found through Aish.com.

Thank you Nili Salem for your beautiful Torah message about how we can “do our best this coming year to not say a negative word at all, especially about ourselves or other people- and that if we have a negative thought about someone or yourself, bless them / you in your heart right away!!! ”

No matter what you believe, or when you start counting the beginning of the year, we can all turn a new page and start over right now.

Wishing you all a sweet, happy and healthy New Year.

I used to think it was selfish to focus on self care, but then I realized that when you show up with good energy, your light inspires the light to force its way out of others so that they can let themselves sparkle too. You are an instrument of change, adding so much light to the world.

Special thanks to Cathy Heller and her podcast “Don’t Keep Your Day Job” for the inspiration to put this show together, and for her song Gonna Make a Change which is featured in the episode.
